Most other software has help files too. They Really Are a world of help too! Spend a little time when you can exploring your help files.

Another thing I have found useful in learning more about how to use my computer, is to subscribe to a couple newsletters or e-zines that give tips and tricks about the particular software I'm wanting to learn more about, such as Windows 98 for example. There is usually no charge for these newsletters, and they are often Filled with useful information written in such a way that they are easy to understand.
